Facility Experience and Projects

Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center (formerly the US Olympic Training Center) Chula Vista, California

The Chula Vista Olympic Training Center was the first US Olympic Training Center to be master-planned from the ground up and is dedicated to the development and performance of America’s future Olympic and Paralympic athletes. Today, the 150 acre Chula Vista Elite Athlete training Center supports Archery, BMX Cycling, Field Hockey, Rowing, Rugby, Soccer, Track & Field including Housing, Dining Room, Medical and Strength and Conditioning
This world-class facility has hosted U.S. Olympic or Paralympic Trials, and world cup events while providing an elite training environment.
Intentional Sports, Chicago, Illinois

Intentional Sports is a non profit organization providing no-cost programming and low-cost programming on one hand, and revenue-generating programming on the other. The no-cost/low-cost programming is geared towards children in the surrounding communities of Chicago.
The revenue generating programming serves adult league play, regional tournaments, and off-season training for professional and collegiate athletes. Having both of these elements operating simultaneously at Intentional Sports provide the resources needed to execute the vision of creating opportunity for children who otherwise lack it.
Gametime Life Skills Foundation

Gametime Life Skills Foundation is a sports-based youth development organization that leverages sport to teach youth important and valuable lessons. Through our Nike RBI x Gametime League, free baseball and softball activities for youth. In addition, Gametime Life Skills Foundation provides equipment and other support to teams in the Illinois cities of Aurora, Batavia, Bolingbrook, Geneva, Joliet, Moline, Montgomery, Naperville, North Aurora, Oswego, Peoria, Plainfield, Plano, Rock Island, St. Charles, Sugar Grove, and Yorkville.
Emerging Sport Campuses

The Emerging Sports Campus is a collaboration within the Action Sports industry to develop High Performance Training Sites for sports emerging onto the International and Olympic program including Skateboarding, Surfing, Climbing, Breaking (Break Dancing), ESports, Flag Football, Lacrosse, and more. The creation of world class training and competition venues with state of the art support systems will provide opportunity for growth and exposure in these exciting emerging sports around the globe.

Leadership Experience

Dave Stow is the Founder and President of Stow Sports Management with over 30 years of experience in international and national sports facility operational management, project and event management, and venue development.

In 2022, Dave launched Stow Sports Management LLC giving him the opportunity to share his experiences and knowledge with a wider population within the national and global sport community. During this time he has been involved in the creation and launch of new facilities, the evaluation of existing facilities, along with developing opportunities for new emerging action sports on the national and international scene.

Experience Highlights:

United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee Dave’s 21 years of leadership at the 150 acre US Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA encompassed a wide spectrum of managing and delivering world class services aligning with the center's vision of becoming an international sport center of excellence. His dedication to optimizing venues, creating efficient operational flows, and delivering world-class venues and experiences for athletes and spectators, continues to shape the world of sports and sports facilities management. During this time Dave was instrumental with the construction and operation of 2 Olympic replica BMX Racing venues, the Easton Archery Center of Excellence, a USA Volleyball sand volleyball training venue, while leading multiple Olympic Trial and International World Cup events. With a remarkable connection to the Olympic Games, Dave's experience and insights have also played pivotal roles within 8 Olympic Games and 2 Pan American Games.

Multi-Sport Facilities Dave brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to multi-sport complexes, specializing in Pre-Opening Management, Operations Management, and Facility Planning. With extensive hands-on experience in leading both indoor and outdoor multi-sport venues, Dave has a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of sports and entertainment facilities.

In pre-opening phases, Dave has successfully guided facilities through critical startup tasks, including staffing plans, operational manual development, program creation, and marketing strategies. His operational experience spans facilities with a variety of sports, including baseball, basketball, soccer, softball, volleyball, and fitness centers. Dave’s expertise extends to family entertainment centers, where he has overseen operations in arcades, bowling, escape rooms, esports, laser tag, restaurants, bars, concession stands, and conference spaces.

As President and CEO of a multi-sport complex, Dave led a major overhaul and reorganization of all departments including sports operations, facilities, food & beverage, and entertainment focusing on efficiency and best practices. Additionally, Dave has played a key role in mentoring and guiding facilities through the conceptual layout and design phases, ensuring that the goals and needs of all stakeholders are met.

Emerging Sports Campuses Dave is currently working with leadership within the Action Sports industry to develop High Performance Training Sites for sports emerging onto the International and Olympic program including Skateboarding, Surfing, Climbing, Breaking (Break Dancing), 3x3 Basketball, Flag Football, Lacrosse, Esports, and more.
